As I was working on this Website, in response to my thoughts, particularly around my life going ahead, and the objective behind publishing this Website which is to positively reach out and hopefully inspire others, I received the following message from Devika.
It is in the form of a Poem. ❤️
Her message truly exemplifies my life, as I have always received various such messages from her guiding me to do good for others.
I have always felt the presence of her soul close to my own soul, and her soul continues to care and comfort me in my life.
My thoughts, in response to which I received her message, are versed in the second Poem following that one. 🌹
You Were Not Meant To Save Me
You were not meant to save me,
I wasn’t meant to stay
So please stop blaming yourself,
Since I have gone away
My time on Earth was over,
That is something you should know
My soul had reached its growth there,
It was my time to go
Don’t cry for all the could have’s,
The what if’s and if only
Let go all the guilt you hold,
Then you won’t feel so lonely
I graduated life there,
And into heaven’s light
I live within God’s peace here,
My soul is perfectly bright
Life there is but a chapter,
Of a book that carries on
I’m just on the next page now,
I really am not gone
The Angels up in Heaven,
Help me watch you as you live
Your life there isn’t over yet,
You have so much to give
Your life there will touch others,
Just as my life there touched you
So be sure to touch them softly,
And place love within their view
Just know this will make sense someday,
We will look back and smile
You are just merely passing through,
We only stay there for a while
So please hold onto my love,
As you walk through life each day
And know that I am right here,
And right there, I’ll always stay
If I Had The Second Chance
If I had the second chance…
I’d do the things I wish I had,
To let her know how much I cared.
If I had the second chance…
I’d hold her close and hug her tight,
And tell her she’s my shining light.
If I had the second chance…
I’d let her know how proud I was,
To have her be my guide in life.
If I had the second chance…
I’d thank her for the things she’s done,
To make a difference in our lives
If I had the second chance…
I’d let her know how much it meant,
To gaze upon her smiling face.
If I had the second chance…
She’d always know that I’d be there,
To hold her hand and kiss her cheek
If I had the second chance…
I’d fill her heart with words of praise,
For she was strong and always brave.
If I had the second chance…
I’d let her know I love her…
And beg her not to go.
