…
- A big part of who you become in life has to do with
who you surround yourself with. Sometimes destiny controls who walks into your
life, but you decide who you let stay, who you pursue, and who you let walk back
out. It’s better to be alone than to be with someone who doesn’t see your worth.
Truth be told, no human being is more superior than the other; and all
collective judgements about others are wrong. Only judgemental hypocrites make
them. Surround yourself with people who make you a better
person. - Even in your rightness about a subject, when you try
to push your rightness toward another who disagrees, no matter how right you
are, it causes more pushing against. In other words, it isn’t until you stop
pushing that any real allowing of what you want can take place. –
Abraham - There are some things in life that just don’t make
sense no matter how much you think about them. At some point you have to let it
go and have faith they happened for a reason. - Just because one person rejects you doesn’t mean you
need to reject yourself. Just because some people choose to disregard your worth
and treat you without kindness doesn’t mean everyone will, and it certainly
doesn’t mean you have to imitate their behavior. – Daniell
Koepke. - The truth is that the way other people treat us isn’t
about us—it’s about them and their own struggles, insecurities, and limitations.
You don’t have to allow their judgement to become your truth. You may not be
able to control what other people say or how they act, but you can always choose
how you treat yourself. – Daniell Koepke. - You can choose who you surround yourself with, and who
you let go of. And no matter what your circumstances, you can choose to believe
in yourself and your worth. Because at the end of the day, trying to please
everyone is exhausting and impossible. No matter how you change or who you
become, there will always be someone who doesn’t approve. – Daniell
Koepke. - So instead of wasting your energy in a futile attempt
to become someone that other people want you to be, give yourself permission to
be exactly who you are. And know that who you are is exactly enough. – Daniell
Koepke. - The right people will find their way into your life.
These are the people who will love and accept you wholeheartedly and without
conditions. These are the people who matter. Let go of the rest. – Daniell
Koepke. - You’ll end up really disappointed if you think people
will do for you as you do for them. Not everyone has the same heart as
you. - We cannot turn the clock back nor can we undo the harm
caused; but we have the power to determine the future and to ensure that what
happened never happens again. - You deserve a day where worries don’t get in the way
of anything. A day where… even if some people are insensitive or unkind,
you’re not going to mind because the blessings you received are far greater than
the burdens you experience.
