…
- You can hide away, you can pretend nothing bad
happened, but one day you will have to face yourself before you can move
on. - Misery can brainwash you into thinking negatively…
instead you must do the opposite and brainwash yourself with
positivity. - Give yourself time to be sad, frustrated, and angry.
Give yourself time to heal, accept, and to grow. Time doesn’t erase anything,
but it can provide you with enough space to be able to breathe again. And then
one day you wake up and your heart has a little bit of sunshine in it. And day
by day, people offer you pieces of their hearts to help remake your
own. - Sometimes it takes sadness to know happiness, noise to
appreciate silence and absence to value presence. - You learn the hard way that you cannot always count on
others to respect your feelings – even if you respect theirs… Being a good
person doesn’t guarantee that others will be good people. You only have control
over yourself and how you choose to be as a person. As for others, you can only
choose to accept them or walk away. - There’s always going to be someone who is going to
come around and try to dim that light or shut it off. Whatever you do, you hold
on to that light and not let that person tear you down. You have the right to
define yourself, and to not let anyone else tell you who you are. You have to
keep your head up, because there are some people who are waiting for you to
fall. Don’t ever let someone fade the light that makes you beautiful. Because in
the end, you’re the one who controls how brightly you
shine. - If you do not step forward in life, you’ll always be
in the same place. - You don’t find happiness at the end of the road. You
find it along the way… - Don’t carry around your mistakes with you. Instead,
place them under your feet and use them as stepping stones. Never regret. If
it’s good it’s wonderful, if it’s bad it’s experience. - It is not easy to live life sometimes. But if you can
just hold on long enough to see this through and trust that you can survive
this; you’ll come out a new person-stronger as long as you don’t give up. Keep
pushing forward, no matter how hopeless things seem, you WILL make
it. - Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in
what will be.
