- I shall stay calm in moments of stress and anxiety, so as to allow
positive thoughts and actions to manifest from me. - People come and go in life, but the right ones will always
stay. - From an everyday perspective, this is difficult to comprehend. We
generally work hard to avoid people and things that we find annoying so they
don’t bother us. But from a deeper spiritual perspective, however, irritation
can be an important teacher and indicator that we are making progress on our
path. Being able to remain centered and awake even when we feel uncomfortable is
much more impressive than doing so in an environment where everything is to our
liking. No matter how good we are at controlling our circumstances, there will
always be factors and people that we cannot control. How we respond to these
experiences to a great degree determines the quality of our lives. The goal of
spiritual development is not to learn to control our environment—which is more
of an ego-driven desire. And while having some measure of control over our
external reality is important, it is when we are confronted with a person or
situation that irritates us and we can choose not to react that we know have
made progress spiritually. It is when we have mastered our internal reality that
we will have become the masters of our lives. - It is the deepest pain that empowers you to grow into your most
spiritual self. The pain you feel today is the strength you’ll feel tomorrow.
Push through it. There’s a reason for every hardship. Nothing worthwhile ever
came from easy times or simple lessons. Spiritual and soul growth comes from
perseverance, belief, courage, and strength. Have faith in the
journey. - Follow your intuition when making decisions. Following your intuition
means doing what feels right, even if it doesn’t look or sound right to others.
Only time will tell, but our human instincts are rarely ever wrong. Don’t worry
about what everyone else thinks, and keep living and speaking your truth. The
only people that will get mad at you for doing so are those who are set on
living a lie. - Ever wonder why the same people or situations are presenting
themselves in your life time after time? This is the Universes way of letting
you know that you have not learned your lesson. With love in your heart,
acknowledge this to be true, and be open to learning the lesson presented to you
right now in this very moment. Once the lesson is learned, the pain from the
past can be let go and you can make room to experience new and amazing memories
that life has to offer! We are all students of the Universe! - The pain and damage we encounter from our past has a tendency to creep
up in the present, especially when we are in the midst of new relationships and
situations in life. This is ours souls way of giving us another chance to make
peace with our past and truly give us a new start to life. If you feel your old
damage creeping up today, affirm to yourself, “I am safe and at peace and step
fully into today knowing that I will always be ok. - Every situation in our lives has a lesson to teach us. Some of these
lessons include: To become stronger. To communicate more clearly. To trust your
instincts. To express your love. To forgive. To know when to let go. To try
something new. Things change, but the sun always rises the next day. The bad
news: nothing is permanent. The good news: nothing is permanent. - Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is just a figment of the
imagination. So if you think about it, today is the only day you’re alive. Today
is the day that matters the most. - Go where you are celebrated – not tolerated. If they can’t see the
real value of you, it’s time for a new start. - Over-thinking ruins the situation, twists things around, makes you
worry and just makes everything much worse than it actually is.
