If you see yourself as a helpless victim, you will
attract events and scenarios to support the story of “Poor me, why does this
always happen in my life? It happens because you create it. The universe is
simply doing its job of giving you what you say you want. Maybe on the
unconscious level, you enjoy the negative attention that being a victim brings,
and if you convince the universe that you are a victim, the universe will
deliver. Isn’t that a good enough reason to change your negative, self-defeating
thoughts into those that exude power and possibility? Let that victim role go,
and start thinking of yourself as a powerful being… You are so much more
powerful than you give yourself credit for. -
When you are at your lowest point, you are open to the
greatest change. Strength doesn’t come from what you can do, it comes from
overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t
do. -
When the person you want to be with pushes you away,
thank them for pointing you in the right
direction. -
There’s a difference between giving up, and knowing
when you had enough -
Stop the worrying – everything will work out fine for
you. If there is something in your life you don’t want, stop worrying about it
and stop talking about it. The energy you put into it keeps it alive. Withdraw
your energy and it goes away. When you let go of things, they let go of
you. -
When you look back you will see why things happened as
they did, for nothing happens without reason on the journey of
life. -
It’s during the worst storms of your life that you
will get to see the true colours of the people who say they care for
you. -
I wish you light in your darkest hours. When life
seems to be confusing or empty, and when your path seems to be hidden in the
shadows of pain, doubt, despair, or unrest; may you find the light inside of you
that will help you to see things as they truly are… For every night comes to
an end, every storm runs its course, and light and peace always return to
us. -
It is your mind which makes your body sick. Let the
spirit within yourself demand health, hope and
happiness. -
Forget the money you have lost, the mistakes you have
made, the injuries you have received, the disappointments you have
experienced. -
Real sorrow, the sorrow which comes from the death of
dear ones, you need not forget. But think of these things as sent to enrich your
nature, and to make you more human and sympathetic. You are missing them if you
permit yourself instead to grow sad and irritable.
