Pride is the most worthwhile thing to swallow. It is the only thing
which, when swallowed, never chokes.
What is impossible for man is possible for God. But where are those
who are prepared to try God?
The greatest imperfection is to see imperfection in
others.
To trust is not to question why: to trust is to know that the Lord is
nigh!
He who thinks evil, drives himself to evil. In course of time, he
becomes evil.
Do as much good as you can, to as many as you can, in as many ways as
you can. And as long as you can.
To the man who believes that life is worth living – life becomes worth
living.
Love is the spoonful of sugar that makes the medicine go
down.
The opposite of love is not hatred but apathy – indifference to the
needs of those around us.
Blessed are they that hold their anger in check! The chariot of their
life moves smoothly as a boat on a tranquil lake!
A man may have plenty of money but if he has no faith, he is a
destitute.
